Wasted spark

Hi , is this correct for wasted spark ? 1 coil for cyl 1 and 4 on output1:G8 and the other coil for cyl 2 and 3 on output 2:G16 ?

can i use 8 seperate coils for v8 engine or 4 with 2 exits - wasted spark

The emu can only drive one passive coil per output and one VAG active coil per output. I recommend Bosch or Ford coilpack. If there is 8 passive on the Audi i recommend installing external amplifiers. Hüco 13 8055.

You can connect passive coils in parallel.
Or in the case of the VAG coil, when you connect them parralel you need to add pullup about 1K between 12V and ignition output

it is okay if I use this original coils.that are currently on the motor - 3 pin conestor.
project will be turbo charged .do you recommend this or any other high performance ignition coils- wasted spark.

You can use these coils. Just connect them in parallel (2 to 1 output).
