Hi guys, I have BMW v8 m60 and although runs good and high rpm sound its great, but think that dont work correctly all cylinders. Injectors and coils are wiring 1+6, 5+3,4+7, 2-8, firing order is 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2. With this, theoretically ignition and injection events should be 1342, 1342 but don´t start. Currently my events are 1234, 1234. Wiring pairing has been checked, test output done and dont get start with correct order. Any idea?

Very difficult start it with this setting, and when get it, its a disaster, intake explosions, only a few cylinders works ....

You must have some mistake, i have done many M60,M62 engine, they work like that.... Maybe you dont have correct trigger angle or you have some noise on crank signal.

Backfire means, you are firing cilinder when intake valves open, so you need to fire way more later

Exactly. I’ll try change trigger angle in interval of 5 in 5 angles.

Have you used this trigger settings In all yours m60?
