I've got a question about your opinion and exprerience with oscilloscopes.
I'd like to buy a solution, which would be useful in "automotive lab":
- diagnosis of car's moudules and devices
- experiments with elements used with SA units, ex. coils, injectors etc.
- readings from ckp, cmp, coil, injector on oem units to preapare start setups
- other combined with our passion and job
I consider 4th channel osc, at this moment i thought about:
1. http://www.rigolna.com/products/digital ... Z/ds1054z/ - Rigol 1054Z, cheap and recommended, 4 channel
2. http://hantek.com/en/ProductDetail_53.html - automotive kit with USB oscilloscope.
I thought about advantages/disadvantages of both, and second option is mobile, the question is, how nescessary are measures while driving?
Second question is about quality od usb osc and quality of measurements? The last thing is the issue of operating - virtual knobs would be annoying i suppose, but
it is not a big problem, if it's mobility will turn up nescessary and quality of measurements enough for automotive applications.
What's your opinion and experiences in this subject?
