Any 10 position rotary switch will be ok (of course you need to add resistor network for this).

You can also use potentiometer (eg. 10K linear).

Hi,

in last week i do some shopping to improve my control over EMU functions and i buy :
- 10K linear resistor ( TP SL45V-B10K L-10B/SPV-17/DC , 5TNK1-B1-B2M10-B10K-DC-20H )
Image
- 10k rotary resistor witch switch off ( RV17S-B10K-15KQ )
Image
- 4 position rotary switch for MUX switch ( SRN-2-4-20KQ , SRN25B, R-2-4W 20KQ , RS003-2-4-W-20KQ )
Image

+ some resistors : 0.5W 4K7 1%, 1W 2K2 5%, 1W 10K 5%

Probem with potentiometers is that they do not have a fixed position and easy is to make a unwanted change..
I'm using grayhil mil spec rotary pot with resistor network all covered with mil spec adhesive and heatshrink.. i think is £60 ready to install including knob.

Agree, better have fixed positions.
I`ve just ordered Nikkai MRX108 non-shorting 8-pos rotary switch. Much cheaper option, but have to arrange resistors yourself.

same for me i want to go the fixed position its a safer option for me and the car :)

just need to work out the resistor setup now but im not going to go full 10 i think 5 will be enough for me

also ive just been looking at software and the torq reduction only goes to 2k is this a problem or just the way it is if thats the case its not going to be no good for me to use :( even in 4th gear it will spin even at 4k + even factory cars go over 2k on there traction control ???

I just ordered an AEM trim pot. I think it has fixed positions, but I'll let you know when it arrives. It's about $26 US, with fancy labels etc... ;-)

I got my 10 position switch from Maplins, its a bit cheap and plasticy but worked ok on the bike. Had to remove it as traction control is banned in the classes i run.
