Hi guys,

I need urgent help. I have little experience in assembly of ecus (nothing). I purchased the ecumaster because I thought it was plug and play, plug in and start, but today it has reached me and I have found that the connectors do not have the cables, ie I have to plug each wire on the right pin. The instructions reflect 48 connections (24 grey connector and 24 black connector) but I have only 44 cables. Please I need someone to explain to me how to connect the connectors.

depends on your old ecu conections and i would guess you have a plug and play for your car so you will have the right amount of wires to suit your car maybe a few spare (i.e you wont have egt so theres 2 outputs that arnt used ) as far as wiring goes i dont no what car etc so i carnt help on that part

correct same as injector 5,6

carnt help with wiring side i dont no the loom but im sure somebody will be able to help you i can build from scratch and make full loom but thats about it thats the way ive always done them ive never used plug and play looms

thicker wires for coils or anything else that will draw a bit more current

did you not get pin out on the adapter ??

im sure kuba ( jadwizard) will be on sometime tonight to help out im sorry i carnt help further

Sorry that the instructions were missing from the interconector.

Thanks to the single wires you can connect all functions of interconenctor what you need, and still have free EMU inputs / outputs to use (eg. wide band oxygen sensor, 2xEGT and so one).

You need to connect wires straight between EMU and interconnector connector.
I will post picture of wiring tomorrow when I come to office.

One more thing about wire thickness and terminal sizes.

The wires with big terminals can by used only for 1,8,9,16,17, 24 connector slots.
The thicker wires are for injectors, solenoids outputs.
For inputs you can use thinner wires.

Ok then I ignore the colors shown in the instructions.

Please, to this instructions, what pin dont use (injectors #5 #6, coil #5 and #6). Anything else?. What slot use to thicker wire? 6,7,15,23 grey connector, and what do you mean "solenoid outputos?

yes use thicker on them numbers

ive just had a quick look at the instrutions thats been posted just follow them .75mm is the thicker wire as stated in the instrutions and will be used for injectors 1,2,3,4

solenoids means idle control valve etc

There are a lot of pins you don't use. The black connector only needs 9 connections for the basic install, and 17 on the grey connector.
Black needs CLT , IAT, TPS, Crank, Cam, chassis, and sensor grounds, and +5v.
Grey: Stepper pins 2,3,10, I connect all the aux except 3 (pin 5), injectors 1-4, grounds, 12v, Ignition #1 pin 8. I think that's it. If your connecting Wideband, knock sensor etc... You can add to the interconnector.

Finally I have connected all necessary. 14 wires black connector and 17 wires grey connector (by instructions). Also I have configured switch to celica st205.

Is the base map loaded in ecu or have to load?

unless you find some one with same set up as yours then you wont find a map

most companys will provide a base map to get the car running ( some will provide a generic map for car ) but due to setups etc not one engine will be the same so they dont provide a full map and to be honest its better to check everthing over either by your self or dyno

you could use someone elses map to get you going if theres somebody on here with same set up but you will still needs to check it all the way through

if you have got the car running on a base map then either map your self or pay someone to do it
