LSU 4.2 PID settings

Dear all,

I finally managed to get my car starting after setting the trigger settings correct. To measure the fuel/air mixture I placed a Bosch LSU 4.2 with P/N: 0 258 007 351 in the exhaust pipe. This is one of the longest cable versions which matched the stock narrow band lambda position on the car.

Problem is now, the lambdasonde responds very late to changes. My sensor is placed near the middle of the gearbox (straight six engine). If apply throttle the mixture leans out (not calibrated correctly yet) and the heater starts to build up PWM very slow.

Idle mixture is ~12-12.5. If I lean it by VE table the engine stalls.

I have measured the resistance of the sensor (89.5 Ohm) and entered this value in the settings.

Is somebody more experienced with this? Do I need to change PID settings?
My KMS MD35 with KMS wideband is very very very fast compared to this.

Best regards,
Tomba

Please attach the log file. Before you make a log in Other / Debug options select PID debug for WBO Pump

PID settings for LSU 4.2 should not be changed..

Attached both PIDs of heater and pump current during starting the engine and heating up the sensor and some rev-ing of the engine.

@ AFR 11-12 the car idles very good. But once I lower the VE value it rapidly changes to lean mixture (lower than AFR 13) and starts to stall.
Connected the sensor to Innovate LM1 and no errors showed up.

Hope someone experienced the same problem(s) and has a solution.

Some observations:
- sometimes I see a really high engine speed in the log screen while the engine isn't running this speed (+12.000rpm). Also a high MAP value is shown at this time
- The alternator of the car only works when I rev the engine a bit up (3500rpm). Don't know if it has influence. Will be replaced one of the first things.

Best regards,
Tomba

Can you send the EMU log file (not cvs) ? All channels are saved to disc so I will be able to analyze data.

Can you send me your settings for WBO ? Did you set up Rx value ?

Settings are stock,

Rx = 89,5 Ohms
