BMW M62B44 Fueling problem [SOLVED]

Hello,
I'm trying to fit a EMU to a BMW V8 M62 engine and have experienced some problems. Maybe some here has som ideas ?
First when I received the car the ECU was already fittet, by the owner by my instructions.
The ECU was programmed with FW 1.016 and I updated it to 1.100 - after that update all data and breakpoints was corrupted, so I had to do them all
We are running 8 injectors in 4 pairs (high Z's) and measured resistance on every fuel channel to 6 ohms.
The 8 COP's are driven by 2 x VAG 4 channel drivers in a Wasted spark configuration.
The injectors are 850cc's at 3 bar fuel pressure we are using standard BMW temp sensors on CLT and IAT
I have calibrated the trigger setup and have fired the engine up. The engine idles smoothly.
Problem is there is absolutely no connection between VE map / ACC Enrichment and the dutycycle on the injectors.
I can have the engine idle with 1.3 ms DC but opening throttle does not affect the dc (regardles og setting in ACC enrichment or in VE)
Having the car idling an changing VE to 10% or to 400% does nothing at all.
(it is not caused by a mapswitch also checked on VE2)
Included is my mapping (very coarse, just because of all my testing)
Can anybody see where the fault is ?
Thanks in advance !

Looks like your Map/firmware is corrupted, try to update firmware again and then download map to the ecu. Or even better uppdate firmware and go to file and restore to default then do a new setup from scratch. Dont forget to disconnect your igniton coils and injectors.

Hello,
thanks for your input, I already tried to update the firmware to 1.102exp and back to 1.100.
Did however not try to reset to default, will try that.
For me it also seems like something is corrupted, which is not accesible.
I have included a log I have made
Regards
René

Tried reseting everything, disconnecting injectors and ignition outputs.
Updating firmware and setup everything from start. Still no relation between throttle and ACC Pump function and no reaction on changes of VE
Now the ECU goes back to ECUMASTER Denmark for test or replacement.

The EMU has been tested today. EMU was installed in another car, and new program for the current engine installed. Everything works as it should. Engine starts perfect and all values react normally !
Kind Regards

Please send us your latest non working calibration.
We will test it on simulator and tell you what setting is wrong.

Hello,
here are latest non working calibration.
Ignition timing is perfect, but no reaction on acc pump function and no reaction on changes to VE map
Thanks for any help !

Try this map. Your for unknown reason is corrupted. Please use the latest 1.110 version.

I copied your fuel / ignition settings. Set up your fuel pump and coolant fan.
Important: Do not connect 3 WIRE PWM valve to stepper output!!! Connect it to free inj or aux outputs. And set up high frequency 200Hz+.

Thanks Jadswin,
I did a total reset of all and used used your xml file. I seems it has solved the fueling problem.
Did some running with the engine, the engine had some misfires, so we pulled the plugs, to se how it was running. Found 2 wet plugs, the rest was OK.
Pulled all injectors out and have it tested - 3 was bad (not dead but 30% down on delivery) - made compression test, tested cam timing. installed 8 new injectors (all tested before installation).
Did some running, but engine does still wet 2 plugs (cylinder 7+8). We the decided to check timing on all cylinders (locked ignition at 0 degrees). Made 4 marks on the crank pulley at 90 degrees from each other : 1 =OT firing cylinder 1+6, 2 = firing cylinder 5-3, 3 = firing cylinder 4-7 and 4 = firing cylinder 8+2
Covering 8 cylinder wasted spark with firing order : 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2 . The odd fenomenon is I have nice se teady ignition at OT on cylinder 1+6, nice ignition at 2 on cylinder 5+3, I have double ignition at OT and 3 on cylinder 4-7 and double ignition at 3 and 4 on cylinder 8+2.
It seem like the ECU looses it's sync, but does not, everytning is great when using the scope, also I have been using a 1 tooth cam trigger and it is perfect in scope, but same phenomenon. Just to be sure the ignition modules was tested in another engine and found OK.
I have this setup in ignition :
8 cylinders
60-2 trigger
Ignition events
8 events - 2 x 4 ch. Coil amplifiers connected in wasted spark config, Firing order is hardwired correct to output 1-2-3-4 so ,Output 1 = cyl 1-6, Output 2 = cyl 5-3, Output 3 = cyl 4-7, Output 4 = cyl 8-2
1 Coil output 1
2 Coil output 2
3 Coil output 3
4 Coil output 4
5 Coil output 1
6 Coil output 2
7 Coil output 3
8 Coil output 4
Does anyone have an idea of what is going on here ? or anyone running a V8 with COP and has a file to look at ?

Hello Jadzwin,
thanks for your time and effort.
I have been trying a lot of configurations. Here are the one I have tested today, which, by my knowledge should work.
I have trigger wheel configuration drawing, ECUMaster primary trigger setup, Ignition output setup.
When crancking the engine with timing light I have theese observations :
Cyl. 1+6 ignites at point 1(OT) and 4
Cyl. 3+5 ignites at point 2 and 3
Cyl. 4+7 ignites at point 2 and 3
Cyl. 2+8 ignites at point 1(OT) and 4
Can you explain me why, from the setup ?
Regards
Rene

Are you sure your ign. modules wiring is correct ? Are you sure that you correct determine cylinder 1 ?
Your setup looks correct but results sounds like cylinder wiring problem. You wrote that you use ign. out 1,2,3,4 but in configuration you use 1,2,3 and 6.
Tommorow I will put your settings on simulator and check what is going on.

Can you provide scope file or scope screenshot from cranking?

Problem solved !
Car runs great now with ECU Master.
Problem was solved by rewiring ignition modules. I have included drawing of incorrect and correct wiring of the ignition modules.
I guess the VAG modules was never designed to fire 2 channels at once, so the the result was unstable triggering.
Final Dyno run (0.8 bar Boost controlled by ECU Master)
Thanks for inputs and help.
