Hi,

i have problems with my single coil to wasted spark conversion. Sadly my coils get too hot and i think then also damaged. Tody i tried my third ignition module and after running some seconds on all 6 zylinders i think the ignition module gets to hot and because of that damaged.

It seems that to much current is going through it.........

Can someone please look over my settings ?
Im using an VW VR6 Ignition module like this:

............ The dwell time is about 2.5 ms @ 12V

What could be my error ?

You are using settings for a coilpack without built in igniters.

Here are my settings for the ignition module of the VR6. Blue table is dwell time from original ecu.

Did you use my complete settings, or only switch the coil type?
