Hello out there ;)

Sorry for all my questions, i will try to learn as much as possible :)

We've talked a little about whether oil pressure and temperature should be in the ECU, but we can not really find out how and what sensors that can be used ..

Right now we have this to oile temp:
oiltemp.png
How to connect it to an analog input? Have looked here: http://www.ecumaster.com/Help/EN/userSwitches.html, but which one should we use?
But represents 'SW' the sensor in the drawing? Like this ? Or any completely different?

About the oilpressure:

Can we use this one? :

'WK' is used for oilpressurealarm, and 'G' is for the ECU... But how to wire that thing up?
Or do i need a new one in different design ?

THX A LOT!!!

Really appreciate the help ;)

you can use 2 wire sensors no problem you will just need to calibrate it manually

connect one wire to Analog IP
connect the other wire to sensor ground
then connect about 2K resistor between IP and +5v

I've used the exact same oil pressure sensor, but later went for the 3wire pressure transducer.
The "oldschool" type sensor is mostly for gauges and the change in resistance is really low for ECUs. (0 - 200Ohms circa)
You have to use a low value pullUp resistor to create a significant voltage change, which in term increases your overall power draw from your 5V supply.
I've used 560Ohm PullUp, and the entire range was from 200mV to 1V.
This backfired, when I was setting up my oil temperature, because all sensors except IAT and CLT have the same voltage axis.

Just use 3wire pressure sensor.

As for the temperature sensor, I use the same design, don't know if the calibration is the same, but I used 1kOhm pullUp.
