Hello,
I use your great app, with mob samsung S6 work well. This weak I bought 7inch Android 4.4.4 2din unit for my BMW E46 M3. It's multifunctional with Bluetooth included. There is one problem, the bluetooth is passive in the 2din radio. It means that does not show any pop-up window for pairing code. It can see the bluetooth of ecu, but can not pair.
Is there any way to upgrade your app for passive bluetooth receiver?
Thank you for your support. I'm looking forward your reply.
Best regards
M

Hi,
Would it also be possible to add into the app so it shows which Table set you are running on?
I have a current issue where my ECU keeps flicking between table sets and it would be good to see when it is happening on the app.
Edward.

Hello,
would it be possible to upgrade your Ecumaster app for all 2din Android car stereos (for example Eonon:
http://www.eonon.com/)? I'll pay for that if needed. All these car stereos have a passive bluetooth. It means they can connect only with active bluetooth devices like cellphones or tablet PCs. Your app works only with active bluetooth devices - cellphones or tablet PCs.
We tried several models of 2din Android car stereos (for BMW, M-Benz, VW/Audi and Opel all with Android 4.4.2/4.4.4). Still same problem. The car stereo can see the ECU in the Bluetooth setting, but once we push the pairing button, it ends in this step, can't see the confimation pop-up window like in cellphones/tablet PCs. It is the difference between passive and active devices. Is there any way to change the paring method between ECU and Android devices?
Other way of pairing the ECU and car stereo could be using of a USB cable. Is it possible?
Thank you for your reply.

On XDA they talk about this radio all the time.
The problem with the radio is that the BT is actually not part of the android side of it, it's actually part of the MCU. SO there's nothing they can do software wise to fix this.
They have a different radio that works (they show on the ad that OBD2 BT works on it), so I'd assume that it would with EMU. For reference, it's made by Hui Fei/Pumpkin
I know on my Lexus (when I still had it), my radio that was also made by Eonon, would not work with my OBDII dongle.

Hi,
I'm currently looking for radio with android and possibility to connect it to EMU... i don't have 2din space so I'm looking for something that will fit 1DIN
i found two units that can menage this one is :
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Vehicle-Electro ... in&_sop=16
and other:
http://www.autopumpkin.com/car-dvd-play ... -wifi.html
taking to consideration that EMU already has Torque support :
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=ecumaster&c=apps
i decided to look something with android rather than windows, and the question is anyone already has working something similar with EMU? if yes please post brand and model
regards

Another display option that might be worth investigating is gauge art:
http://gaugeart.com/
Since EMU can now output AEM CAN data stream this device should work with EMU.
Gauge art converts the CAN data into video gauges that can be displayed on any LCD display that has VGA or composite input so doesnt matter if your radio is windows, android, linux, etc...
I have never used a gaugeart device so cant comment on how well they work but just stumbled across them on the net.

That's new, I didn't know it could output AEM CAN data. Where is this at?

I noticed this happens when the screen goes to sleep on my old Galaxy S4.
WHen it does happen, I have to close the application, and turn BT off and on again before it'll connect.
