It will shorten the turbo life time, and add extra stress on exhaust valves, and over heat the exhust manifold, the wilder you go the more damage you make, but we do it all the time specially ALS, that holds like 0.5Bar on throttle release.

I believe you have a 3sgte, be very careful with launch, ALS etc.. If on stock pistons, you might be upgrading sooner than planned. If you already have forged pistons then Have fun!

I recently killed my std ceramic catalytic converter by adjusting the LC for "good bangs" out of the exhaust... When just using enough hysteresis and much ign retard (keep an eye on your exhaust gas temps!) even a standard cat will survive it, as optimally there will no explosions happen in the exhaust.
As you can hear, the turbo just spools

i used to get about that boost with just a extra switchable rev limiter but with 4wd you need a rev set at around 5.5k for any decent launches . with the emu and the fact i have no cat i will have lots of bangs

My engine is forged (pistons and rods) and havent Cat.

Today activated LC and its pornographic jajaja explosions like I want it.
