MUX switch explanation?

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could fill me in on how to setup a "MUX" switch for boost control? It would be nice if I could use a 5 position switch, but I'm not sure if that's even possible. Could a standard potentiometer be used and basically have a volume knob for boost?

I was just looking at that and I think it looks for a specific voltage for each switch position

The MUX switch is a way of using multiple switched I/P signals but only consuming one Analog I/P
There are only 2 boost target tables so the switching could be done using one signal from an MUX switch but as far as i know we only have the option of 2 boost target settings or open loop Dc tables etc. There might be another way to implement variable boost i would be interested to know more also.

Hi
Try using a 6 position switch with the input going to gear selection input
This way each position of your switch will represent a gear. From this you can use the Boost - gear scale to vary your target boost
