this has happened a couple of times and seems random but usually when idling it will just shut off , checking logs i can only see a unexpected missing tooth on primary just before it shuts down , it has happened once while i been driving , is there anywhere i should be looking in particular . ?

perhaps i encounter the same issue, in my case after this engine is stop working i cannot fire it up from run i must turn off ignition and then car starts up without any problem, i was thinking i had problem with my harness or maybe main relay but now im not so sure :

just looked now and i cant find the log with the missing teeth error , must of forgot to save it .
here is my latest i did today , mostly stuck in traffic though but i was lucky too as one point it boosted to 1.8 bar ( forgot ebc was on ) luckily its still alive lol

log 3:25 saw 1,75 boost and 13,6 afr

????
I do not know if it helps but my ST205 has a very different trigger and coil dweel time configuration.

yes i know it boosted too much caught me by supprise , ebc wasnt off . only 60% throttle , seems ok anyway
mine is coil on plug with st215 crank and cam trigger setup , i have raised the dwell time a tiny bit from that graph but not much
also my dwell times are not like you show in that pic , hmm thats strange
booked in for mapping on tuesday so best not kill it untill after that

Please chenge your idle valve type to 3 wire PWM no spring
It will solve the problem of engine stop on idle

i have no idle control , its on the throttle stop plus a screw on the throttle body . bit of a pig untill its warm i know , i have an audi idle valve here just need to take the intake off and weld a pipe for it sometime
its a lexus 76mm throttle body

ok I suppose mine problem is different from yours, i recorded new logs today and a movie...
what i see i current logs (dint saw that previous i upgraded today from 135 to 1.136 EXP1) is unexpected voltage drop and only thing i can do in this situation is to "reset" EMU by off/on ignition situation is quite strange because as you see in log battery voltage drops to 0 but all sensor readings working fine
on the movie at 4:09 (4:45 LOG) is first fail you see on log and second one is 4:50 (5:25 LOG)

Look at channel ECU reset. The ECU resets then..
The battery voltage looks exreamly strange. It drops under 5V...

The battery drop is conencted to closed TPS. Are you sure there is no short circuit at 5V when you close the throttle ?

there wasn't... on the way back home i try older software and at the weekend i will recheck my wiring, thx for pointing the issue

It looks like wiring / TPS problem. Looks like in under some condition TPS makes short circuit on 5V (very low resistance) and the voltage drops under minimal allowable value (6V) what causes ECU reset...

ECU reset will be quite good because in no time it will synchronize and the issue will be almost invisible (but on other hand ecu will be not protected so god as it is now), nether the less i plugged out and in all connectors and on way back home i dont replicate issue, its time remove all extra connectors and solder wires permanently

Check if enabling pullup resistor will help. solved that problem in my car like that.

this is not this

car is running on this setup 3+ years i have definitely problem with my harness and this will not be a easy found because after i moved it now its working

Does the problem solved? Cause i had similar. When the TPS is disconnected everything works fine. But when TPS is connected, EMU gets reset while i'm operating the throttle body. How to connect the pull up resistor to 5v in TPS and what value will be perfect for TPS? Thanks in advance.

that could be caused by the TPS pins incorrectly connected where either the 5v or the sensor ground is connected to the signal pin??
