hello
Im new at this forum. I have an audi 10 v turbo engine (VAG code MC) that I run with a megasquirt 1 today. I plan to swap to emu-ecumaster instead. I just need to find out. Can the system handle the stock trigger signals from the engine in the stock engine management system. It s two inductive sensors at the flywheel and a hall-sensor at the cam shaft (inside the distributor) Are the Knock sensor amps in the ecumaster working fine, (one of my reasons to go from ms to the EMU )

Re: audi 10v triggers
EMU support 5 cylinder Audi trigger (AAN, 7M). I suspect MC's engines triggers are the same.
Re: audi 10v triggers
Yes, as far as I understand its the same in the MC-Engine. I Heard that only one of the flywheel triggers are used by the ecumaster-system. I then expect the hall sensor at the cam-shaft to be responsible for the actual triggering. ? Not the second flywheel trigger as in the OEM-system.. If so. Are there any practical advantages compared with running it on a five window distributor setup?
