Injector Latency Help

Hey guys, so I finally got around to installing my 1000cc's. They are low-Z injectors, I've wired a resistor box to suit, but can't find the latency values.

They are Precision 1000's and everything I have found is not right. I even pulled the ones from AEM Tuner (they have it as one of their presets). I can't get anywhere decent of an idle on these injectors.

Sometimes there are such problems with big injectors. Small squirts are not flow matched, so the car seems to run quite different AFR for the different cylinders, and you just can't get it right. Try to adjust a bit injector trims and see if it make a difference. If it does then this is your problem.

Im not sure if this technique is correct but it does seem to get things in the ball park

Try switching back and forth from sequential injection to squirt twice per cycle, and adjust the dead times until the AFR stays the same

one Advantage of low-z is a faster opening because of a low impendance and high current. With an additional resistor you will loose this.
maybe that and the big size of them is the Problem.

Sorry for the late reply.

I can get the idle pretty decent at 14.7-15.2 AFR's, it just feels lumpy. Like a mild cam. I'll try the injector trim first, and see how that goes.

what your ignition on idle?
sometimes when idle control retard massively ignition and engine do not run very sooth..

try playing with the new injector phase timing table

Are they new? Are they flowmatched?
