3sgte tacho multiplier

Hi, I am using the 3s-gte plug&play adapter
The dashboard tacho shows half of the real RPM
Looking at outputs->tacho output, I see "output: none" and chaging the multiplier there does not have any effect
Where should I look?
Thanks

Remove the 40K resistor in the tachometer, to a piece of wire

Use the specific tacho output - aux 4 maybe?

OUTPUTS/ Tacho Output/ RPM multiplier... change the value until it reads correct

The stock tach gets it's signal from the stock igniter, not the EMU (unless you have replaced the ignition system with aftermarket). I'd replace the capacitors in the tach first, and see if that solves your issue. While it's apart replace the speedo caps as well if it's electronic speedo.

Hi any ideas anyone? I am replacing my steering wheel so good moment to fiddle with the tacho again due to easier access
A friend told me the tacho is just a voltometer which means I need just to calculate an appropriate resitor.. Correct?

Did you check capacitors yet? 99% chance that is your only problem...
