ABS-Sensor for VSS and tractioncontrol

Hello!

The car is RWD.
My transmission doesn't have any sensors. (besides backup switch)
If i use a vr-type ABS sensor, should i use one from the front wheels or the one in the rear differential?

From my understanding it should be the signal from the front wheels, because the speed of the rear wheels can be calculated via engine-speed and reduction ratios...
Therefore a difference between rear and front can be calculated >> slip.

Am I right?

greetings
Paul

Non-driven wheel is more accurate for VSS as slip is eliminated. In general, wheel slip in EMU is detected from rpm-delta actual (measured by ecu) vs rpm-delta set by tuner for any given gear.

Thank you!

That is not exactly working as i was thinking, but as long as it works. ;)
Then im using one of the front wheel sensors.
