Hello,

Currently i am working on the final stages of my engine and would like to get the can bus set up. Im not so sure im worried about wiring it up as much as i am about how to program it to output a can bus signal of my choice. I go into the EXT. Port > EMU CAN Data screen and I see 5 different lines, ID 0x600 ID 0x601 Etc. and next to those are some numbers.

I am specifically wanting to output the 2JZ engine RPM from the EMU can bus to the stock wiring harness in the scion FRS so that tach will work. there are other features id like to output but this is a good starting point. Am i missing something? I have the data ID0x141. Do i need a separate system to change the EMU ID 0x600 to 0x141 or what? This is my first time working with can bus so im sorry for what could be a stupid question, but i just dont see how this will work in my current situation.

I am strongly considering this Can Bus expansion too and can't find much information on how to use it. Also how is this used with the Bluetooth adaptor that I already have connected to the Can connector on the back of the EMU?

I was just looking through the help files. It looks like the can bus module is designed for data xfer and additional analog inputs only. There are two channels (ports) that I don't understand (CAN L & CAN H) I'm also confused on the wiring for the BT module in conjunction with Can expansion module. How do I connect the BT adaptor since it no longer connects directly to the serial round port any longer?

CAN is a BUS System!
So you can connect many CAN devices to a BUS. CAN-L and CAN-H are the to wires where you connect other devices.
In theory you are able to connect up to 128 devices on These two lines

there is a separate BT dongle available that connects directly to the can bus string
