Hello, I just got started on my Lexus SC300 2JZ-GE turbo conversion. I am looking for resources on installation/setup. I purchased the 2JZ-GTE plug and play hoping that this will work the best for my application. I am currently running the stock ecu and Apexi SAFC-2 and I need this upgrade badly.
I am hoping to find an initial map and I want to figure out what else is necessary. (I have read about IAT and MAP instead of MAF? Necessary?)
I have a t4 .70 turbo (~15psi) and 550cc injectors. Upgraded Pistons, head gasket, and Cams. I have the stock ignition system/distributor currently. (Will possibly upgrade(Coil on Plug) soon or with the EMU installation if necessary. (Is it? Is there a kit for the conversion?))
I am open to suggestions and advice!
2JZ NA-T Build

Ah, same Smith from ClubLexus?
Basically you'll use the GTE PNP adapter. You will have to modify the base cal for the GTE to work on your GE. I have a base map, but it will be different to what you have.
I started off with the GTE map and made my tweaks for the GE.
On my customer's car, I use the stock dizzy to VVTi coils without the ignitor.
I had his car running on the dizzy, but I'll have to find that cal.

Haha yea I'm on the clublexus forums asking around. Forums are my fav.

Re: 2JZ NA-T Build
No worries.
EMU doesn't support MAF. You'll use the onboard MAP sensor, and you'll have to get an IAT.

Re: 2JZ NA-T Build
I'd go for the coils now.
Get some Denso/Toyota coils.
