Hi All,
I have EMU and want to use this on my swiftGTi turbo setup.
As EMU is new to me trying to seek some help in wiring the EMU and to fire.
I would request some inputs as this is a distributor and wanted to know how to make use of this for the cam input.
how do i set the trigger pattern.
is there any help where i would receive just a base map so that i will be able to start from there.
please help me with this
Regards,
Manoj.

Personally I would throw away the distributor & leads.
Then fit individual coilpacks that have a built in amplifier (denso, bosch) & run them in wasted spark using just the crank trigger.
If you want to run in 720 sync then add a cam trigger somewhere, from a brief look about, a Vitara cam trigger looks like it might be possible to adapt and use:

Hi Mate thank you so much for the inputs i thought on these grounds as well but thot it would consume more time
what about the crank sensor and toothed wheel
what about the coil packs could you please provide me the link to choose the right ones
also need some help on connecting the injectors to EMU
1.injectors have two pins a.12v b.gnd (12 is already connected to the vehicle harness the other is the gnd for controlling which pin to be connected to EMU
2. need help on the injectors and coil pack connections since this is confusing me a lot in understanding the connections unlike other ECUs
please support me

Hi All,
Usually we have 2 pins in the fuel injectors
a.12v
b.gnd
the EMU manual is confusing me with the injectors pins which has to be connected on to EMU
all the other ECUs we connect the gnd pins to the standalones so a little confused with this configuration

Connect one injector ground to one injector output. Ignition switched, fused, 12v supply to injectors.
Same as all other aftermarket ECUs.

Thank you this was a little confusing me when i looked into the manual
I later thought that injector output from EMU should be connected to ground and thank you so much for the inputs.
I have one more question for the primary trigger should i use the signal from Dizzy since there is no crank sensor or cam sensor
will this be sufficient?
