Hey guys,

I got a 7mgte that I'm working on. I purchased the PNP adapter and got the base map from WHP. The car doesn't want to sync whatsoever. It'll just crank and crank. If I disable cam sync, I can get it fired up.

Should I just leave it disabled??

Learn to use the SCOPE function this will help you find the cam signal. Sounds like you have a problem with the secondary trigger, maybe sensor or wiring

Just an update, checked the air gap, and it was off a little. Did all three pads, according to the FSM, and now I have no sync whatsoever. I took a scope, and nothing shows.

if the sensor is producing a signal then the scope will pick it up. If there is no signal on the scope then the wiring or the actual sensor itself has a problem
