Speedometer 200SX S13

Hi everyone,
I've got a little question:
My S13 has a speedsensor with 2 wires, so I think it's a VR type. This sensor is connected with both ends to to the dash and then there is one cable coming from the dash, which I connected to the EMU. To get a good signal I had to put the settings to Hall/Optical. So I think the dash gets a frequency from the VR sensor and outputs a square wave signal to the EMU.
Now what I want to do:
Connect the VSS to the EMU and output a speedometer signal to the dash, so I can apply speedometer correction. But the EMU just puts out a square wave signal. Is there a way I can do this?
