Hello,
i have a M104.941 (inline 6, std firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4).
I equipped it with a flywheel from a later model which has a 60-2 pattern on it. (instead of VDO 3plates with permmanent magnet)
The engine uses VR sensors for both, cam and crank.
However if i turn the engine in TDC the cranksensor is reading tooth number 10.
So i choose tooth number 0 for "first trigger tooth", so i have 11 teeth or approximately 60° between those two.
Is this alright?
The Engine does sync and fires up for a short time, but stalls then .
I tried playing around with trigger edges, and starting fuel dose and so on but i cant get it to idle.
Using a timing light when starting, to see if the trigger angle is right is tricky because of the wasted spark ignition... (two arcs in short time)
Any Tips?
greetings

Post Your log file from cranking and fire up attempts or just send it to tech@ecumaster.com

Thanks for your Support!
Also the Engine is synchronising in no time, so that should not be the issue.

Engine fired up today and it's running!

Those are my Settings:

Timing is perfect with Trigger Tooth 0 and Trigger Angle of 61°.
The Problem was, it wasn't getting enough Fuel after starting.
I had to write in at least 50% in the VE table in low RPM range and "no" load, is this normal?
I'm using stock 190cc Injectors at the Moment, because one of my 440cc was leaking permanently.
