Well my problem is maybe simple ...

Car is running ok and the tune get to a good level !

But when I connect my laptop to the emu my connection get lost after starting the car and get the rpms a little higher

Anybody else got these problems ?!?

2jzgte 3,4l stroker Single Turbo
1300id injectors

My connectors are directly fitted to the loom
So no adapter !

Maybe a problem with ground or something !!???

Are you using the laptop on charger connected to the car cigarette lighter ?

No in battery mode


Allready try a laptop of a friend which was at the tube on his Supra ! Same problem !

It could be caused by wrong grounding or broken USB cable

Well I would check it !!!!

I use the oem 2jz loom and strip it out ....
maybe should I ground the emu separately direkt to chassi ground ? ?

Update ....

I check all the ground and grounding points !

Make some extra ground wires direct from battery and chassis

Nothin help!



After that a friend of mine with a identical setup came to the shop we pull my emu out and try it at his car !

His emu is easily to tune no connection fails ect

So my emu swapped inside ... connection fail after rpm raisin high !


My emu was at ecumaster shop in Poland for a repair last summer ... maybee something is wrong inside ...

Maybe you should stop tune

Buy a new one

No only the stepper motor was gone ...

Sent it back for diagnostic and get it back repaired from jakub of ecu master
