Hello
My Emu setup has always been working just fine.
All of a sudden it drowns cylinder 2.
after a bit of messing around it becomes clear that the injector 2 output is Switched to Ground constantly, therefore the injector is open all the time.
The 5 other outputs are "pulsing", this is just a constant Ground.
I have checked Wiring -all fine.
I havent been doing any changes in the map.
Any ideas, anyone tried this before?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Problem with constant spraying injector
thanks, i will try to post the map/log.
I have done some more measuring.
If i pull the connectors off the injectors, and measure the 6 injector outputs on the Emu, there is "full" ground on injector 2 (G15) -all the time, no matter if power to the box is on or off.
Even with the gray connector completely off, there is allways ground on G15...

Re: Problem with constant spraying injector
There must be a fault in the circuit/wiring somewhere, if there's a connection to ground with the grey connecter unplugged.
There fore it's probably not the EMU that gives you troubles.

Re: Problem with constant spraying injector
If i disconnect the grey connecter, There is ground on G15 -measured on the pin in the box.
There is no connection to ground in the wiring to the injector. (its a engine-only homemade harness, so everything is very easy to check).

Oh okay.
Then your ecu is probably faulty.

Re: Problem with constant spraying injector
well, i guess there is something gone wrong in the ECU..
But i would really like to know what caused this, -so it dont happen again.....
Have anyone tried this before, maybe there is an electronics-guru out there that can figure out what sort of component is faulty inside the ECU.

Hi!
It is not to easy to destroy injector / aux output because the used low side switches are very good protected (against short circuit, overcurrent, overheating, etc.)
Maybe the transistor was faulty from factory and died after shor usage (it is very rare, but it is possible).
