hi, was wondering if anyone knows if a tune file for the black series ecu will work with the earlier model unit.
have tried to load but comes up with incorrect value errors?

they are not compatible

it would be handy to be able to save and cross load individual tables or copy/past table data but it looks like that is not possible either.

Well that's a kick in the guts, looks like I'll be needing a new ecu then.

why a new ecu?
Just make a tune for the one you have.

just copy all the settings over manually, even the VE table can get real close after transferring the numbers in a few key areas like idle light throttle and wide open, then just fill in the rest by eye

Sorry was given some wrong info, the tune file is written for the CAN ECU and I have the ECU MASTER unit with the add on CAN module.
File was loaded and it came up with "invalid value" errors about three pages of them.

Im the customer, just trying to help out the guy who is tuning it has I'm asking him to use a new system on a non common car for Australia Ford Focus ST225.

Can the tune info just be transferred over between the two different ECU's.

Your help is muchly appreciated!

For EMU black there is option to import EMU calibration files (Files / Import emu project)
