I have just purchased a second hand det3 with loom for a 1zz. I thought all det3 come with internal map sensor but I am told this doesn't have one?? How do I get one as I want to ditch the Afm when I go Turbo
Thanks

Re: Map sensor
I have just checked and there is three types. Mine doesn't have a inbuilt map sensor. Can one be retro fitted so I can ditch the afm still?
Re: Map sensor
The original could come without, with a 2,5bar or with a 4bar.
The ones with built-in sensor where just wired signal-out to analog2.
You can easily fit an external mapsensor. Look through the det3 program, Setup -> Scales configuration -> Load on analog2, and have a look at the ones already written a definition file for, for instance bosch 0 261 230 042 (2,5bar), or motorola mpx4250 (2,5bar), or a greddy 3bar mapsensor.
