Any help with the ST205 wiring? I mean if there is any easy guide to wire it easy in a 3sgte ecu jdm
Thanks! Greetings from Chile

Re: Installing DET3 on ST205
Thanks u so much, but I have some question. Well, this is my first time installing these type of devices.
In the diagram you give me, the ground of the DET3 (PIN 11, Ground), you tell me to connect it to the C9 pin of the 3SGTE, but looking the pinout of the 3sgte from a ST205, the C9 pin is the Fuel Pump Relay, should I connect the ground in that pin?
http://www.gtfours.co.uk/what/ecu_pinou ... 05_ecu.jpg
Another Question, in the Analog In#3, the diagram tell me to wire it to the Pin C2, but in the MAF, I know is that the ST205 doesnt have a MAF, how is that explained easily? If I have Analog Out connected to the C2 in the ECU
Same with B20 pin in the INGNITOR, dont know where to connect it.
Please anybody can help me?
Thanks u everyone, and thanks for the diagram, it was very helpful, only need these 3 wires and the DET3 should be installed.

Re: Installing DET3 on ST205
The early ST185 wiring was different and quite a few pins moved position around 08/1991, the later style was similar to the ST205
As you look at the ECU the plugs are B C A (26/16/22 pins)
The pin for MAF should probably go to PIM C4 as that is the map sensor
The GND should go to B23
The IGT is B20 middle pin on the lower row of the left plug

Re: Installing DET3 on ST205
But Im looking a diagram of the pins, and C4 its nothing PIM should be C7 (if u refer to Turbo Pressure Sensor)
B23 is Distributor, B26 is Engine Ground, should I connect ground to there?
And yes, IGT is B20.
But maybe u dont understand my question, the questions is
If I have Ignition In 9 (from the DET3) connected to the B20, where should I connect Ignition Out?? It says that I should wire it to B20 in the Ignitor, i dont get that...
Also with Analog In#1, If I have analog out 17 connected in C2 MAF Sensor, where should I connect Analog In#1? If it says that I need to wire it to C2 also...?

Re: Installing DET3 on ST205
Sorry, that's me looking at the wrong diagram for PIM C4 is late ST185, C7 is ST205
The GND is listed as C9, on early 185 it is G- Distributer, late 185 have no listing for that pin, I just transferred it to G- on ST205, looking at the manual it lists device ground so that would be E1 at pin B26
The other two wires need cutting so the signals go through the det3 so it can adjust them
i.e. map sensor connects to det3 then that connects to ecu map sensor pin
Igniter trigger output from ecu into det3 then onto igniter

Re: Installing DET3 on ST205
You do not understand how DET controls ignition and fuel. Device modifies signals from digital and analog sensors to cheat stock ECU. If You want to change mixture, You have to change values from sensor responsible for counting AIR coming to engine . In st205 such a sensor is MAP sensor colled PIM by toyota.
Signal from PIM sensor goes to DET where it is changed and send back to ECU. So You have to cut the wire and part from sensor connect to ANALOG IN, and part to stock ECU to ANALOG OUT.
ANALOG IN signal voltage from sensor will be change with fuel map then voltage will be send back to ECU with different value.
example : Voltage from sensr 3.5V -> DEt adds 0.5V (50 on fuel map) -> output signal is 4V on ECU. ECU will think that more air is going to the engine so it will add fuel.
The same thing is with ignition, You have to cut wire from ECU to ignitioner and connect part from ECU to IGNITION IN and part from Ignitioner to IGNITION OUT.
With ignition map You will be able to retard ignition in degrees (-1 value on map means -1 degree of ignition).
+12V supply connect to +B
ground to E2
Analog In/out to PIM
Ignition in/out to IGT
Other sensrs You can connect to spare analogs in for corrections (don't cut wire, just solder t-splice)
