I am reading good things about this unit from Supra forums and have yet to find much on it being installed on a 2jzge vvti IS300 auto. I would like to try this out on my IS300 at before I install boost but then will be running 8psi to 10 psi. just want to get setup first before boosting to learn how it works and get a good stock tune. I have cams, exhaust, intake and headers as of now. Also is this unit good this is not my daily driver but drive it a lot and love to take it on trips. basically, if I am not working then I am driving or working on my is300. need it to be reliable. Also, does this fight a lot with the Lexus ECU?

hey bud,
this has been used on 1jz and 2jz engines many of times so should be fine to work on your 2J
what spec 2JZ is it? VVTi?
im sure they have a 30-2 trigger wheel
i would recommend doing maf to map conversion, the best way would be wire the det3 in while you are NA then do maf to map while you na.
i wouldn't go over double you stock injector size seen people try run 1000cc injectors on the det 3 and have had issues as the jump is too great
hope this helps

it's the vvti stock motor. I am staying NA for now and maybe turbo some day but this is my weekend car and want to get in and drive without problems and don't want to do stand alone with the CELS. I want to keep it fun and driveable without headaches. I have heard good and bad with piggybacks on the is300. I am just hoping the has fewer problems than AEM or Greddy
