Internal Map sensor

Post by retro-ed » Tue Sep 23, 2014 12:21 pm

Hi,

On the models with internal map sensor, how do you configure the table setup to set it as load?

The instructions cover using the analog inputs and configuring them so I understand how to use external sensors etc, but I am unsure on how the internal map sensor relates to this?

Cheers

setup -> scales configuration -> load ..

Map sensor (both 250kpa and 400kpa) are permanently connected inside DET3 to analog in#2. When You open files with load button, You will have scales files for 250 kpa map nad 400 kpa map

Ah, great info, thankyou! :) do I still need to earth out the analog in#2 or just leave the pin open, connected to nothing?

Gutted I didnt know this last night as I wired it in as follows :( ..... guess I can just swap pin "analog in #2" with "analog input #3" on the wiring connector?

Wiring configuration:

Analog in #1 - AFM
Analog in #2 - Wideband lambda
Analog in #3 - Earth
Analog in #4 - Earth

Scales configuration:

Analog in #1 - 0-5v linear scale (AFM)
Analog in #2 - Wideband lambda sensor 10-20
Analog in #3 - DET 3 with internal 400kpa map sensor
Analog in #4 - GM temp sensor (Not fitted yet which is why wiring is earth)

Thanks again!

You cant connect anything else in pin 14 (analog #2), because there is map sensor signal, just plug in inside. Just leave it empty.

WBO connect to analog #1,#3,#4
