Simple question about the OFF mode

Post by Gotboost » Tue Nov 10, 2015 11:27 am

Hi !
I would like to know wht'as going on, if i switch off the DET3.
Is my stock ecu working like "normal" use, or do i need to change some settings in the DET3 to create a "bypass" mode ?
The idea is to be able to switch between the stock ECU and the DET3.
Anyone can help me about this ?
cheers.

if you power of the unit, then signals from sensors to the stock ecu will be lost.

You would be better having the map switch mode in DET3 used.
have a set of maps where you have adhustments amde, and one were you dont.
then just switch between the maps

Ok, so there's no "bypass" mode.

If i don't modify any parameters in the MAp 1 (for exemple), can i use thi s map like "the bypass mode" ?

You want a map with stock parameters and another map tuned.
What would i do is leave the map 1 with all the tables in 0 (no modification) and the map 2 tuned the way u want. You can do this changing the map with a switch connected on the Map Switch pin out from the det3

It's exactly what i want to do !
8-)
So, can you confirm that if i leave all the tables in 0, it's like i'm running in stock configuration ?
