Subaru crank signal support

Hey guys I'm looking at getting a DET3 for my usdm 00 forester that I turbocharged.
But everything I've seen abt Subaru's on here they're having issues with the crank signal,
So I'm looking to see if there's anyone who is successfully running a subi with one.

Mine 03 na subie didnt worked with subaru crank trigger.
Had to use retard single signal.and had to change num per rev 7
to make it correct.by this way i can only retard ignition.thats for u need.good luck.

So are you saying it can work properly I'm only retarding it?
Because some guys on here got it to run but would only rev to abt 4K and have idle issues.

No probs at all.launch control rev limiter etc everything works.
Aswell didnt used shielded wire but runs fine.
