Setup of 2.0 zetec with ITB's

Hi every one,
Hope someone is able to help me. I have managed to wired up the det3 but I am having a few issues with set up.
1st of all I have the built in MAP sensor but am unable how to do the MAF to MAP conversion as I am unable to connect the MAF to be able to reference the output. Is there some safe settings I can use for the fuel table?
I am also having issues with getting the ignition angle to sync pretty sure I have the settings correct for this so may be a wiring issue.
The engine starts and runs but seems to splutter a lot and backfire a bit on the inlet side.
