Ecu master DET3 is not recognized by any laptop

Hello guys, I am new to the forum. I have a Toyota starlet N/A doing a turbo conversion on it. I've wired the ecu in piggyback mode, so Power, Ground, IGN in and IGN out, MAP sensor. I've also downloaded the 1.25 Software from the main website. However when I connect the usb from the ECU to the laptop, it is not recognized. I've tried downloading all the USB driver software but it still does not work. I also tried using different laptops (4 of them) all do the same and the software says "Cannot connect!" at the bottom. Can someone please help me out? Thanks in advance.

what operating systems are the laps using and make sure your using the correct com port
