Hi

I have a problem using frequency out as power out.

I am traying to operate a relay to engage the nitrous valves and det3 blacks out i noticed that the log stops running and when i remove the wire from the relay it starts working again. The det3 after that it looks like you have reset it and loos every thing. I have to mention that i go the throttle at the possition that i have put to engage the valves and its working after that black out and i have to turn off the keys of the car!

I have bought the additional transistor that is requared to work ( irl540 ) and i have diagram also that shows how to wire a boost solenoid.

Please need solution fast Friday i have to go to dyno and sunday car run at a drift event

Car is toyota starlet kp60 f20c swap

If you connected relay directly to frequency output, for 99% the transistor that drive this output is broken...

Was a solution ever found for this?

I seem to be having similar problems. I am controlling a solenoid through a solid state relay. Most of the time the Det3 will not work when initially starting the car. If I go in to the map and change the current idle block to any type of duty cycle to trigger the solenoid it works from there on out with no problems. Seems similar to the post above, like the unit needs to be reset or something internal. Any suggestions?

kuba hope you remember the test that you have done to my project. my friend at the day that he was running he told me that some time the car was not spraying nitrous, any way we changed the setup of cars and removed the nitrous and we will now control the v-tec solenoid to operated at lower rpm i will start that project next weak and i will update the post
