IAT sensor wiring

Hello, since the car doesnt have a IAT sensor, how would the wiring be done to the DET3?

Ground -> sensor -> Analog#4 IN(pin16) ???

Or should the +5V Output be used with a Resistor trough the sensor to the Analgo in beeing the resistor value the one used in RX on calibration Menu?

+5V out(pin12) -> XXK Resistor -> Sensor -> Analog #4 IN(pin16) ??

BTW it is a Vauxhall Calibra Turbo (C20LET) Threaded 2 pin IAT(is this the GM IAT type in default sensor Types)??.

Thank you!

ok, nevermind, that is on the FIT Manual and i guess the +5V out is good for this.
Is it just me or it looks like everytime we take a look at the manual there allways seems to be something new on it...

in case someone comes with the same doubt...

5v from det3 to one pin of clt and other pin to analog 4

Yes, thats how i have done, but with a 2k resistor on it which was i had in handy, and seems to be working ok! :)

ill make my own Knock detector/analyser now and i should be fine to start tuning it properly as soon as the wideband arrives!

thanks!

First off, sorry for bumping such an old thread.

My question is with the IAT, I'll be using a GM unit. There's also a preloaded scale from ECUMasters built into the DET3. If I hook up the IAT, will I still have to run a resistor?
