i have a newer engine in my car so i went from distributer to coil pack
so now my tach/rpm guage dose not work

i was told the det 3 can alter the signal to get it working with the coil pack signal

how do i wire for this and is there a setting for it

Is your tach signal is taken directly from coil ?

it goes to the ecu from the coil packs yes
im using a tach converter unit at the moment
but id like to use the det if i can
and could sell the converter
