How do you log timing? any snapshots would help, I want to see the ignition timing when on boost..


This is my 1st time using the DET3, so far I love it, one more thing, Boost control, anyone have a quick tutorial on how to use it?

You cannot log stock timing in DET3. With piggyback You add corrections to stock timing changing crank signal phase moving synchronization.

-1 degree of retard mean that ECU will get signal from crank 1 degree later and timing from stock ECU will be realized 1 degree later

Stock timing for example is 17 degree of advance. Value added in DET -1 will retard ignition. 17 - 1 = 16 so the advance of the ignition will be 16 BTDC


If You want to check timing set up by stock ECY You need diagnostic tool.
