1jzgte DET3 wiring

Hi all,
Did anyone wired a DET3 into a Soarer 1jzgte ? I have the pinout diagram of the ECU but this is a first for me and wanted a second opinion on it...
Thanks

Here is the Soarer 1jzgte ECU pinout attached together with what I could find in the user manual about connecting the DET3 to the car ECU

So according to this you need power, ground,MAP and crank sensor from ECU to DET3 - I'm assuming you have to split into the corresponding wires from the ECU ???

And then we have this, the Fuel Implant wiring scheme . The 1jzgte is a 6 cylinder engine (ignition order 1-5-3-6-2-4) , is it correct to wire the injectors in 2 batches (1-3-2 and 5-6-4 ) to pins 18 and 20 of the DET3 with 19 as ground ?
The ECU has 2 crank inputs (NE+,NE-) ,how do you connect it to the pins 4 and 5 on the DET3 ? (pin 4 is Bipolar Ign out inverted and pin5 is Bipolar Ign out ) Which is the positive one on DET3 (if any) ?
I'm aware some of my questions will make some of you smile but this is a first for me and the documentation about my car's wiring/electrical is limited (car is an import from Japan) , so please be patient.

Sooo, small update ...looks like power, ground,IAT,CLT and TPS are splitted into the factory ECU ,I (supposedly ) figured out how to wire the MAP sensor and the crank sensor in/out of DET3 but I'm still unsure about the injectors wiring in FIT configuration.I found some info from the Megasquirt boys but is for MS2 ,I'll try this because that's all I have at the moment.Originally the injectors in a Soarer are wired in three batches of two (1+4,3+5,2+6) .The MS lads are wiring it 1+3+5 and 2+4+6 at pins 18 and 20 in DET3 with 19 as ground.
I still have to figure out how you wire the injection part using the crank and cam sensors.Crank in is DET3 pin 9 and crank out are pins 4 and 5 but I'm still unclear on how to wire the cam sensor to input TDC signal into DET3 to replicate the 24-1 ignition pattern (crank is a 24 teeth Nippondenso pattern).
Can anyone help with the above ?
Thanks

How big are your injectors?

For the moment the engine is stock ,aside from the intercooler, so the injectors are 380cc.
Correction to the above ,crank is a 12 teeth wheel ,not 24.

So are you just trying to tune your air fuel ratio?? Cause all you need is to tune the stock map sensor..

No,I am trying to tune AFR, ignition and control as many parameters in the process as possible (boost, knock, etc) but I'm new to this and no info on it hence the wrong directions I'm taking in researching this. Once it's done I'll make a tutorial on 1jz with DET3 but that 's far away in the future right now.
I guess the final goal is to extract as much power as possible from the stock engine ...

Back to this after a while,I came to a point where I hooked up the DET on the 1jz ecu .So far i have :
1. +12V (after ignition)
11. Ground
13.MAP in (engine side)
14.TPS (splice)
15.CLT (splice)
16.IAT (splice)
17.MAP out (ecu side)
I have connection between ecu - DET and DET - laptop ,I can see the above voltages in the DET client as the car is running.
Next step is ignition and I'm not sure if the 1jz crank signal is balanced(differential) or unbalanced(single ended). The 1jz crank sensor is a VR sensor reading a 12 tooth wheel behind the crank harmonic balancer. The same signal can be read as balanced or unbalanced by different ECUs.
The Soarer ecu has 2 crankshaft inputs (NE+ and NE- from memory) - does this mean it's a differential signal?
The crank input is DET pin 9 .If the signal is balanced I should use DET pins 4 and 5 for crank output,if it's unbalanced only pin 5.Can someone shed some light on this for me?
Also in DET client/Setup/Ignition Configuration a number of options are offered under Ignition Mode but no 12-1 .
Any opinions and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks

Today I tried to run the crankshaft signal through the DET3 - no luck so far.I cut the NE+ and connected the engine side to DET pin 9 and the ecu side to pin 5.It isn't right as I can't see rpm in the DET client and the IGNITION shows NO SYNC.Does anyone know which ignition mode has to be selected in Setup/Ignition configuration for a 1jzgte Toyota 12-1 pattern? The ignition input type is "VR sensor adaptive threshold" .

You can use a fuse if you wish, but those sensors draw such a small load it would be a very small fuse that would be effective.

Use VR Adaptive 24 Teeth and you'll get a Sync with correct RPM.

Hi,thanks for the suggestion but I tried it already,no joy.I'll try the other crank connection,NE- one of these days.
I was looking at your Soarer the other day, nice job, especially being an auto. My goal is something similar.Do you have a build thread about it?

Rpm problem sorted now.I run the other crankshaft sensor connection,NE-, through the DET 3 and I can see rpm in the DET client. The settings in the DET client are
Ignition Mode : Retard/Advance multitooth signal
Ignition input type : VR sensor adaptive threshold
Number of signals per 720 :24 (12*2)
Next on the list is welding the lambda bung in the exhaust and wiring the lambda to see afr.

I guess the final goal is to extract as much power as possible from the stock engine ...

all you need to do to tune your AFR is tuning the MAP sensor which tells the ecu how much fuel to inject, why use the fuel implant for???
you need a wideban=d to know your AFR, then see what RPM and what parameter you need to reduce the voltage to inject less fuel.

Thanks mate, any idea is welcome, this is all new to me and VERY few people are willing to share their knowledge about this ...

No Problem!! I have tune 2 cars (1JZ/2JZ) and I really like it, I wish they would update the screen size. I wish we could see the log and and parameter at the same time like a dual screen(on the same screen)

Yeah, the fact that you can't resize the screen really bugs me as I'm using a small laptop .Maybe it's time for a feature request...
@ Jadzwin,I'm trying to submit a feature request but the topic is locked. The feature request is to make the DET3 client able to resize the screen like the normal Windows apps, grab the corner or the edge, click and pull.
