DET3 in 94 MKIV supra
Hi everyone,
Can anyone help me out with which pins to use to connect it and what else is necessary to convert the MAF to map, do I need resistors?
I kinda have an idea on which pins to use but it is great to get some assistance.

SP59 turbo (old school 59mm)

car has an SAFC, I want to get rid of it, I figured out the pin out, But I do I need a resistor to pull up the signal?

I can figure out the pinout to wire it in.
The set up tables is what I am having difficulty,
Fuel table
Modify:??????
Load:??????
Correction #1?????
Correction #2?????
Ignition table
Modify: Analog 1
Correction#1: Analog #3
Correction#2: Analog #4
The ignition table I copy the 1JZ setttings. It's the MAF setting I don't know.

WIthout knowing the year, and if yours is JDM/USDM (I'm assuming USDM because you have a MAF). But I need to know 100%.

94 bro, it's a maf 0-5 volts. I will update this thread on a proper install, I was truly brain farting over thinking this stuff

One last question, How do I clamp the stock map sensor the USDM MKIV Supra runs?
So I figured out how to wired in the maf into the DET3, I figured how to convert the MAF to MAP, the issue I might encounter is the fuel cut that controlled by the stock
MAP sensor.
Maybe I am overthinking this???

Once you go to MAF to MAP it will automatically clamp it. I'm sure it'll take a bit of fudging though.

You can unplug the hose to that, you only need to clamp the MAF. You clamp the MAF in the "Analog Outputs Configuration" menu. You'll need to know the upper limit for MAF voltage, and you'll have to do that by logging the DET3 while you hit fuel cut, then you'll set your Max voltage to a value under the voltage that triggers fuel cut.Jostar wrote:One last question, How do I clamp the stock map sensor the USDM MKIV Supra runs?

I got the car running and it is tuned.
Customer is enjoying the car on MAF, I will reach out to you when I need to convert the MAF to MAP.

Does anybody has some basic map for 2jz-gte, just did single turbo conversion and i did take maf sensor away. I would need some basic map so i can drive tune place where they adjust. Any change? Or just install maf back on car and runs that way?

What size turbo did you install? I tuned a MKIV small single turbo car on the DET3 on piggyback mode.
