Nissan Skyline MAF to MAP progress

Post by ihiryu » Sat Oct 03, 2015 9:45 pm

Hey guys just wanted to update. It's been a little confusing, but I've finally got some progress on my tune.

Finally got my wideband installed the other day so I could finally start tuning.

I don't have my IAT plumbed into my intake just yet, so no corrections just yet.

Mods are:
R32 Skyline GTST RB20DET
Walbro 255 LPH
Stock turbo, injectors, and MAF
Front Facing Intake Manifold
HKS SSQV
FMIC
o2 housing
Catback
Cat Delete

So I've been running this setup with only the DET3 installed, and surprisingly runs amazing. AFR's are on point on the stock ECU, so there's not much to be gained here. I'm currently running 12-14 psi (Internal Wastegate is beginning to fail).

So I did a little bit of logging today and this is what I ended up

Really nice. Righ now, do not cut entirelly MAF. Take car on road and make log to compare analog signal from MAF and analog out from DET3. If differences will be to large, ask someone to drive car, and correct map during driving for perfect match.
