Problems with IAT probe and AFR signal....

Post by Gotboost » Mon Aug 01, 2016 8:35 pm

Hi !

I've an AEM Wideband gauge installed on my car, so i decide to connect the 0.5v output to one of the analogic input of the DET3, but...
The value displayed on the DET3 log screen is very different than the correct value displayed on the AEm Gauge..
I've tried to download a another scale configuration, to have the correct value displayed, but unfortunately, the scale file is not the correct one for AEM AFR gauge...
Where can i find another scales configuration files ?o or is it possible to create/modifying his own one ?

I've also tried to connect a IAT probe to an another analogic iput of the DET3, but...
I've choose exactly the model specified in the user manual, but the value in C° displayed in the log screen is false : the difference is huge.
My probe is correctly connected (via the 5v outut from the DET3). How to solve this ?

thanks for your help

some fresh news.
-I've removed the connection between the AEM Afr Gauge, it's useless.
-I've still have some problems with the Coolant probe and the AIT Probe : it's exactly the model specified : Magneti Marelli ATS.
Everything is fine with the DET3 values on the screen except theses one : the IAT temperature is always -40°....
everything is well connected, the 5v is ok, but the Det3 don't seeem to react....
Can you help me ?

I'm also looking for a correct definition file for AEM Uego. Does anyone have one, or the polynomial for it?

Ok. So I made my own definition file for AEM Uego 30-4100 based on its datasheet.
wideBandO2SensorAEMUego_30-4100.txt
(392Bytes)Downloaded 77 times
To use it, change its extension to .def.

That's pretty cool, I was trying to wrap my head around the coefficients the other night but gave up. Could you help me make a better definition file for zeitronix zt-2? There is one in the software but it seems kinda strange, not supporting the whole range of measurement for starters.
Data on the ZT-2 here.

Here you go!
I found that a 4th order polynomial gave the least mean error.
