Problem with initial firmware update.

Post by mike » Wed Sep 28, 2016 1:49 am

Hello, New to the DET3 club and just began my install. Question is ....when I go to load the firmware an error pops up "Can not enter boot loader. Please reset the device". I've disconnected and reconnected the power and grounds to the unit however this error persists. Any Ideas?

Your unit ships with a working firmware, why are you updating it? I can't recommend going for the 1.32 firmware, i've had issues with it.

I installed the FIT firmware, after restarting my laptop It did finally go through.

I've wired it up and am running on a 91 mr2 with built 5sfte but haven't driven it yet.
Here is another basic question......I'm running pretty good after all the calibration however I can't adjust the afr's with the fuel table values. Also I can't make changes to the "tables configuration"....after applying the changes and clicking the "ok" the changes aren't stored. Any help would be appreciated.

Never mind, I got it figured out. Might be nice to have the basics in the manual though:) All in all nice unit.
