I cannot find a Scale to give the Exact Readings My AEM Failsafe guage shows. My Aem UEGO guage does show the same Readings on the DET3. Is there an update or Option to help me use the AEM Failsafe guage on the DET3 ?

Please HELP

Analog scales configuration.
Read in the AEM manual to get the values

Thanks this gives me an idea where to start from with my beginner level of understanding. Hopefully this hashes out. The Newer failsafe guage offers several features as an advantage.
The Det3 has several wideband options that didn't work.

Has anyone used a Aem falsafe wideband O2 guage on the Det3 piggy back successfully. Where the unit shows the same reading as the guage ?

Have you tried something like this?
To use it, change its extension to ".def".

1. Try pasting the following quote into a text document.
2. Save it as "wideBandO2SensorAEMFailsafe.def".
3. In DET3 --> Setup --> Scales configuration, Load "wideBandO2SensorAEMFailsafe.def".
// scale definition
name = WIDE BAND AEM FAILSAFE AFR 8.5-18
linearize = 0
unit = AFR
minValue = 8.50
maxValue = 18.00
// ilosc miejsc po przecinku
precision = 1
// non linear sensors are defined by equation:
// value = coef5 * v^5 + coef4 * v^4 + coef3 * v^3 + coef2 * v^2 + coef1 * v + coef0
coef0 = 7.3125
coef1 = 2.375
coef2 = 0
coef3 = 0
coef4 = 0
coef5 = 0
