Hi guys.

I have purchased an EMU to put in a lexus is200 (1gfe engine). Does anyone have or know where I can find a base map for it?

Thanks

DET3 or EMU?

if it's DET3 then you won't need any base map. EMU, I can't help you on that one.

Base maps are a little hard. Especially if you wired it up yourself. Everyone can wire inputs and outputs a little different. If you need something that will start the car up, make sure you have the firing order, cam/crank signals configured correctly, and TPS is calibrated.

At that point, you can just fill up your entire IGN table to 10-15 degrees, and add a lot of fuel into your VE table.

That should let the car attempt to start.

I very much doubt you will find a EMU base map for a 1G-FE, theres isn't many for 1jz's and 2jz's and the 1g-fe is alot less common engine for tuning and not very tuneable.

Best thing to do is get it all wired up, check all the wiring then take it somewhere to be tuned properly. I am very interested in the results as i am looking and building an is200 drift car for my brother with another 1jz, but will start off using the 1G-FE.

If you need any help with the car and ecu side of the is200 i can help out with wiring etc. Im still running is200 ecu side by side the EMU and they seem to be happy :p
