PSI Motor Sweden

Hi guys.

Really nice to se the forum up and running :)

A bit of history.

Me (Mattias) and Pelle have been tuning cars for a decade now and we were looking for a reliable ecu. Easy to use, cost effective and good support were the main issues. We were looking every at every single Ecu on the market, the ones we had tuned a lot of and all the smaller brands. Gotech, Haltech, DTA, Emerald K6, CanEms, Link, Vipec, Nira, megasquirt, VEMS etc etc.
But none of them felt right or there were already to many resellers. Then we stumbled over the EMU by accident when it was brand new on the market and fell instantly in love after receiving our first ecu and tested it on our old testcar. The Ford Scorpio V6 which we had turbocharged and previously fitted a DTA S60 PRO. Already after 30min the car ran better than ever.

Done a "couple" of installations...... Heres a few.


BMW e36 M50B25 Turbo.
Holset HX35 turbocharger, Siemens 875cc injectors, Cooperring headgasket and ARP headstuds, E85 fuel. Everything else standard.

Output 519hp 620nm

VW VR6 Turbo.
Forged JE pistons, Forged Eagle H-beam, Catcams race camshafts, Custom exhaust manifold and intake manifold, Precision 6262 billet turbocharger, 2 X 044 fuelpumps and Bosch 1000cc injectors. E85 fuel.

550hp and 640nm at wastegate spring preassure 8-) Hopping for 650hp next time he´s here.

Dirty E30 Driftcar.
Engine M50B25 BMW. Cooperring headgasket, ARP headstuds, Custom exhaust manifold, PT 6262 Billet, E85 fuel, standard pistons and rods.

ECUMASTER ECU.

Base mapped, 0,75 bars of boost. 430hp and 530nm. Next dynotime we hope to smash 550hp och 680nm

BMW 525 M50B25 Turbo.
Cooperring headgasket, ARP headstuds, Tilton 3 plated disc clutch, Bosch 1200cc injectors, Custom exhaust manifold and a 62mm Holset HX40.

561hp and 705nm. This was at 1,7 bar of boost. Later tuned it to 2,3 bars and 650hp 900nm WITH STANDARD COILS DRIVEN FROM THE ECUMASTER!!!! Thats cool!!

Cooperring headgasket, ARP headstuds, Bosch 1200cc injectors, custom exhaust manifold, GZ 61mm Ballbearing Turbocharger.

Low boost tuned due to fuelpump problems.

JMB called us and asked us if we were interested in installing and tuning a Ecumaster in one of his customers extreme trackcar. A BMW M3. Of course we were :)
We had 2 days to install and tune the car before it was suppose to be at Nurburgring competing against 115 other extreme cars like Ferraris, Porsches and Mclarens.
We finnished all in the last second and the customer made it in time. He did not only make it in time, he WON :)

Done a couple of cars again.

This is a Volvo 940 with a 6 cyl T6 engine, fully forged internals and precision 6262. Had problem with backpreassure due to the catalyst, wich they have to have :/
Best result was 503hp - 624nm.

BMW E30 with S50B32 Double Vanos and EcuMaster of course :)

First runs are made without active vanos. Topresult was 327hp, had som problems with getting the throttelbodys to open full :/
Anyways the car is hitting the dyno again in a couple of days wtih working trottelbodys and active vanos, should be fun :)

Did a Skyline installation an fired her up this evening, runs like a kitten :)
Of Course with EcuMaster!


Schwitzer s300 turbocharger, large intercooler, forged pistons and rods, 2x044 fuelpumps, 1200cc Bosck injectors, 60mm wastegate and a lots more. Dyno and mapping in the comming days :)

We did a little bit of dyno tuning today on a BMW M50B28.
Forged PPF 4340 H-profil rods, 1200cc Bosch, 2 x DW 301 fuelpumps, Precision 6766.
Its standard BMW ignition coils driven directly from the EcuMaster!! 902nm of torq and 721,5hp at 2,5 bar of boost.

Yes, its a really fast car :)

He´s comming back soon with one of our ported heads with new camshafts mounted, would be really nice to se 830hp :)

Vurdere å kjøpe DET3 eller ful standalone til min forester S-turbo.

Har ikke noe erfaring med tuning, men ønsker å lære. Har du noen forslag til bra bøker eller nettsider?

Er nok å begynne med en bredbåndslamda og for eksempel DEt3, for å kunne ha kontrol, eller bør jeg koble opp knock sensor med en gang?

Är där mycket canbus i den? Bra sidor där man kan lita på att det som skrivs är korrekt vågar jag inte rekommendera. Förutom denna sidan då :)

Bredbandslambda och knackutrustning ska man ha när man mappar.

Did pretty cool car yesterday.

EcuMaster PnP M50B25. Totaly stock enginge with a 54mm Billet S200 turbocharger and 875cc injectors.
0,95bar of boost resulted in 419hp 530nm.

Yes everything is stock. 9,6:1 comp ratio. e85 fuel.
