Guys, do you have any launch control settings to share, that will keep nice and steady rpm? For an n/a engine, no boost.

Just try and play with settings.
It`s very easy especially as you have n/a application. It will be basically just "revlimiter" in your case. You can play at lower rpms, to not stress valvetrain too much. When you find good settings set where you want it to be.

That's my point, i don't want it to be simply a rev limiter, a hard cut. I want it to behave like this : https://www.facebook.com/romainlevesque ... 739887645/

revlimiter can be done differently, so play with settings and find out.

I experiment a lot in general, but i would prefer a starting point on this one as it stresses the engine a lot

You can do fuel cut, ign cut, ign retard and all combinations

I think in most cases the fuel cut should make less stress.
IGN cut is very fast, but you can end with huge bangs, destroing your exhaust valves, exhaust manifold etc...
IGN retard slows the engine by reducing its torque, but generates heat on exhaust valves and exhaust generally...

So the correct combination for me will be (may be not for you) : Slight ign retard and dont step on full gas like Monkey.

You can apply so much gas until you hear the engine want rev more (bacause retarded timing). If you push harder on gass, you will just make more stress on the engine, so i think this will be just stupid to do it.

If it is for stupid custommer, i would combine the retard + fuelcut few revs above the retard...

And if it will be turbocharged car, i would combine the retard with ign cut, to make boost off the line....

You can also you DBW, and this can make thing much nicer....

Like Samvel writes.... there are many ways, you need to decide what do you want.
