Engine stalls immediatly when switching to afterstart??

Hi, I have posted my problem to facebook but let's try this forum also as I'm running out of hope...
The problem is that the engine stalls immediatly when the EMU switches from "cranking" state to afterstart "state". First I thought that its just my VE values that are off as the EMU switches from cranking fuel to VE table fuel. After spending couple of days adjusting VE map gradually from extremely low values to extremely high values I started to think that there is something wrong with the engine because it doesn't stay on. Then I thought that as it always fires nicely in cranking state, what if I increase the cranking threshold value so that the ecu state newer switches from cranking to afterstart, And the engine runs nicely this way!!! The strange thing is that it Doesn't help if I set the VE table so that the inj.PW is the same as cranking PW. The engine still stalls immediately hen switching to afterstart. Extremly repeatable: doesn't stay running when ECU switches from cranking to afterstart. Any ideas about the cause??
Things I have already checked:
1. Cranking ignition angle the same as running mode ignition angle.
2. No afterstart enrichment in use
3. VE values set so that injector PW remains the same when switching from "cranking" to "afterstart"
Questions:
1. If I have enabled "Batch all injectors" in cranking setup, and the log indicates inj.PW 5 mS during cranking. Does it mean that the actual total opening time for a single injector per one 720 cycle during cranking is 8 x 5 mS = 40 mS as I have 8 cylinders and 8 ignition events. Because if that is the case, then I haven't set up the VE table to produce as high fuel amounts. I have set the VE values so that the inj.PW in log stays the same during cranking and afterstart.
configuration and log Thanks
