Does anyone know how to make the EMU Black communicate to an AiM MXG Dash?

Yes, via CAN. EMU BLACK supports many data streams (eg. Pectel Omega) that are supported by AIM

Can anyone elaborate more on this? Connecting a MXS Strada to an EMU Black and had a quick go tonight.Has someone succesfully done this via CAN? What do you set the dash to in Black software as AIM is not listed?

Open EMU Black Software
Go to "Can, Serial" and then "CAN"
Check the box "Send EMU Stream over CAN"
Go to the final box "CAN-Bus Dashboard"
I used "Pectel SQ6"

Then when you go into the AiM software and when you select the ECU datastream select "Pectel SQ6".

You will have proper communication.





What I haven't found is how to stream the WideBand to the dash. It might be possible with using different CAN Dashboard programming? or is this not possible at all? unsure.....

if you have the AIM MXG, MXL2 system you can make your own can adress for the EMU data stream and get all the info the EMU sends out
Use the Custom Can in the racestudion 3 and put in what you want for Can 1 or can 2 also you can add RX and TX info

That would be awesome, but I am not familiar with can addresses and protocols.. I know enough to know that if you get it wrong, it messes everything up.
