No additional Analog Inputs?

I'm reading the EMU manual (nothing for black?) and it says that the 'Analog Inputs' page will allow me to configure additional inputs?

This is not a capability of EMU black?

Input is much appreciated

for black there are 6 analog inputs and CLT, IAT and TPS

In BLACK there are many predefined sensors like Differential oil. temp sensor, pre IC temp sensor, AC pressure, back pressure, and so one.
Each sensor has corresponding calibration table and additional wizard to make configuration easier.

So I can not define my own AI? For example Coolant Pressure? Why was this a feature of the classic EMU but not of the 'upgraded' EMU Black? Seems crippled :(

Let us know what sensor do you need.

Now it works better because it is logged data into stream and the proper channels could be logged on sdcard.

original EMU has 4 open plus 3 predefined analog inputs for a total of 7 and the Black has 6 open and 3 predefined for a total of 9 Analog input.

All open inputs can be assigned to a multitude of new predefined functions or used for any custom application you like

Problem arises when you`re using DBW that will demand minimum 2 An inputs (DBW pos + inv pos) and preferably 3 if we use also inv TPS. And DBW is 1 of main arguments of using Black against normal EMU. So if we use 3 An with DBW we have left over with 3 inputs vs 4 of EMU.
Other things to consider:
EMU can be upgraded to extra 4 channels with CAN modul.
Black can be upgraded to have more channels with CAN SW-board or/and PMU.
Black have dedicated 3 SW-inputs, on EMU we had to use An inputs or CAM2 for switches.
